![]() Now, let me try to understand your current situation. All subsequent operations including flashing Magisk-patched init_boot were supposed to be done from the unlocked bootloader (not that you can't flash init_boot from EDL but there is zero point in going there for the second time just to flex). Seriously, just to clarify all this mess I can't even comprehend to (believe me, I'm trying), all you had to do is to make A FULL BACKUP (by pressing Read Data button on every visible partition, get them tasty stock images, store them somewhere safe and, optionally, filter out the empty ones to free space) and then overwrite abl partition with the one provided in the very first post (by pressing Load Image button and selecting the downloaded abl image on abl_a or abl_b partition, depending on your currently active slot, or both for an overkill). >I followed all the steps I read data load image of both init_boot_b and init_boot_a That's it, see the screenshots if you need a visual guidance (those are ugly and I know it). Make sure to check the console carefully to see the destination and, for the love of god, rename the output into more meaningful name - unless you're a hardcore dev. Note on dumping: the tool will dump the partition data into rather specific path. There you'll see The Four Buttons of Doom - Erase, Read Data (dump), Load Image (flash) and Close. Interface is dead simple - press RMB on any partition and click Manage Partition Data to get into the next menu. Wait for a while until the partition table loads. When a confirmation screen appears check the firehose path and confirm. Next, go to Tools/Partition Manager menu. Open QFIL (from QPST installation directory), check Flat Build, point it towards the programmer (firehose) and set the Storage Type at the bottom right corner to UFS. Switch (reboot) the phone to EDL 9008 mode (adb reboot edl, fastboot reboot edl, etc.). Install Qualcomm USB Driver (present inside the package). ![]() Feel free to experiment with the more recent versions, I was using that particular one. Most basic yet working QFIL setup (for those who wants to save their $20): ![]()
